Tumaini Letu - Our Hope: A Documentary About Children Orphaned by HIV/AIDS

In the villages of western Kenya, AIDS has robbed hundreds of thousands of children of their parents.

Tumaini Letu-Our Hope is a film about the lives, struggles, and indomitable spirit of three women left to care for these orphans. Rasoa Kivairu is raising ten grandchildren. Anna Khautu is a single mother of five who lost her husband to AIDS. And Anna Aredo has taken in four nephews. With limited resources but great resolve they must overcome many challenges to ensure these orphans grow up healthy and have a chance at a better future.

These women participate in the AED Speak for the Child project, which is supported with funding from the Children's Investment Fund Foundation, the U.S. Agency for International Development, and donations from individuals.

Tumaini Letu-Our Hope is a story of triumph and hope for Kenya's next generation.
