The AED Center for Early Care and Education

The AED Center for Early Care and Education works to ensure that America's children enter school ready to learn. By translating research into practice, the Center assists staff from Head Start and other early childhood programs across the nation. AED staff delivers technical assistance to educators, parents, and policymakers on such topics as how to organize the classroom to support literacy development and early language--including language revitalization and second language.
